Parallel Polis 2030 is an ideological counterbalance to the carbon state, an incubator for the ideas of activists, thinkers, philosophers, scientists, and artists who resist the profiteers responsible for climate annihilation, the impotent governments they control, and the drift into fascism. The parallel polis concept and community serves as an alternative to authoritarian structures and provides hope and options during bad times. Without transformative and oppositional structures for support, asking people to confront climate genocide is akin to demanding they search in the dark. Thus, Parallel Polis 2030 emphasizes reawakening, becoming radically human.
